My first foray into my initial love

Had some Robinsons vouchers to spare (courtesy of my ex-colleagues) so off I went to spend it and what better way to do it than to buy some jewelry.

And so I spent a nice afternoon with Sheryl who very nicely intro and explained to me what jade is and etc and at the end I got this little peach (I think, that's what it is...) or radish???

 

This will be my baby steps into owning some of my favourite gems.  Jade and Pearls.

I know, very auntie but I like gems that gives an understated elegance to it rather than blaring it out for all to see, not to say that I don’t own any bling but sometimes you just want to be quiet instead of shouting out to the world

Heard this chinese poem in one of China’s period drama and it strikes a cord. 

Here is a little background of the poet who wrote it.  I think it supposedly should be more spiritual in meaning but well, the romantic kind works better for me:

见或不见
    

你见，或者不见我
我就在那里不悲不喜
你念，或者不念我
情就在那里不来不去
你爱，或者不爱我
爱就在那里不增不减
你跟，或者不跟我
我的手就在你手里不舍不弃
来我的怀里或者
让我住进你的心里
默然　相爱
寂静　欢喜
